REAL PEOPLE - Craig Mason

The title of this collection is an essential piece to note – Real People. This is a collection which encapsulates the raw essence of real people, capturing them in their most organic form. For this collection, Craig chose to use street models instead of agency models to convey the authenticity of his vision. These models were scouted on the street by Craig himself. When identifying his muses, their variation in appearance and aura was crucial – highlighting that no two people are the same. Craig showcases 4 different hairstyles – all with different measures of texture, volume, and depth to exhibit the contrast in styles. He took inspiration from the 1990s, wanting to re-create that grungy, edgy vibe that dominated the streets of England in that era. The collection is a true embodiment of Craig’s personal style and aesthetic, being shot in black and white to not only amplify Craig’s vision but draw attention to the look.
